Description:
CANview® is an intelligent albeit simple and low-priced CAN / RS-232 interface for connecting any RS232 device (such as a PC) to the CAN bus.
CANview® serves as access hardware at the office and on the go and can be used in connection with a computer as a data logger, for example, or CAN monitor. The device is capable of assuming independent control functions. Additional monitoring and diagnosis functions are performed by the integrated A/D converter, which provides static measurement of the supply voltage and of the CAN signals. Furthermore, automatic baud rate detection is provided by the standard firmware. The software for the computer and the CANview® firmware can be developed according to the customer’s specifications or can be implemented by the customer if desired.
