Description:
IXXAT's protocol software for CANopen is available since many years and proofed in many applications. Supported are the microcontroller families Intel 8051, Siemens C16xC, Motorola 68HC08, Motorola PowerPC and ST7.
The CANopen protocol stack is according to the latest CANopen specification DS 301 (version 4.01) and available as Slave or combined Master/Slave version.
By means of the modularity and scaleability the software can be adapted perfectly to the requirements of the device. The provided programming interface also allows an easy integration of the CANopen software into already existing applications.
An adaptation of the software to other micro-controllers which are not directly supported at present can be done by using the ANSI-C versions of the software packages. These can be adapted with low effort and in short time to other microcontrollers like Hitachi, NEC or Fujitsu. On inquiry these adaptations will also be done by IXXAT.
In addition to the CANopen, DeviceNet and TCP/IP protocol software IXXAT Automation also shares the Know-How in form of consultation and seminars. Besides of customer specific development of hardware and software IXXAT Automation also develops and realizes complete system solutions.
