Description:
NetPorty II is a small, intelligent, combination interface between a CAN
network and a serial or parallel port
with buffering capabilities.
Standard firmware for the NetPorty II
an PC-based monitoring software is
provided.
The NetPorty II firmware can be
downloaded into RAM or Flash memory. Once stored within the Flash memory, it will be started with power on. NetPorty II would basically act as a converter box that converts RS232 messages to CAN messages that a device (e.g. Printer) can understand and vice versa.
Several software modules allow the
programming of user specific
applications.
