Description:
The Rhapsody™ Visual Programming Environment (VPE) enables software engineers to graphically design real-time embedded software using a range of methodologies from full object-oriented (OO) thru functional decomposition techniques . Full production-quality C, C ++ and Java(TM) code, including underlying architecture, behavior characteristics, and real-time framework, can then be generated directly from the design diagrams.

The latest version offers a comprehensive list of features including model / code associativity, design-level debugging, use cases, reverse engineering from imported legacy code, and support for best-in-class design patterns.

Rhapsody™ is an open tool and provides "out-of-the-box" support for a range of real-time operating systems, compilers, requirement tractability tools, and software configuration management tools. A winner of the 1997 EDN award for innovation, this is the first and only Unified Modeling Language (UML) tool to truly close the loop in the iterative development cycle of embedded real-time software
Standards Compliance: UML, ANSI C/C++, Java (TM), TCP/IP
